It has a historically local production chain to give space to the talents of Florentine craftsmanship and has introduced the use of new and innovative materials such as the Apple Marlene fabric, obtained from the scraps of the Apple processing, and the Cuoio leather with vegetable tanning to support the most Iconic Buti leathers.
The result obtained is the increasingly evident richness of their craftsmanship and attention to detail for a new energy between innovation and tradition.

Lining: All interiors are made with a lining created by the recovery of apple wastes. The sustainable lining is produced by using residues derived from the industrial processing of apples allowing us to save not only on waste management costs but also the environmental impact. This natural material, in fact, replaces other raw materials of chemical origin in the product, lowering emissions and energy consumption throughout the production chain.
Marlene Apple Fabric: a brand new material made with the recovery of apple wastes, one of the most innovative techniques of recycling materials. The Marlene Apple Fabric has a very silky, resistant to use and its composition is about 13% Apple, 32% Cotton and the rest PU.
Details in Leather: On some bags of this collection (1630, 1570, 1591, Aurora) we present Details in vegetable leather which is pressed, cut and sanded by hand and dyed with natural aniline in the Ebony color.
Aniline is an organic compound based on carbon, absolutely transparent, which allows you to color the skin without changing its natural appearance. It allows, in fact, to preserve all the characteristics of the skin including the shades of color, scarred wounds and even insect bites. At the end of the dyeing with aniline all the leather pieces are hand-polished with special waxes.
Buti texture embroidery: The new BUTI texture, characterized by a strong three-dimensionality, is embroidered on the leather or fabric dials of the bags to give them uniqueness.
B logo signature: All the bags in this new collection are garnished with a metal B, discreetly positioned to certify the originality of the new Buti bags with a distinctive sign.
Lightness and Versatility: The Bags made with these particular leathers, fabrics and linings are extremely light and at the same time very resistant to use. It’s called Regenerated Design the will to give new life and value to the Buti’s iconic leathers as it happens in the concept of circular economy.
This approach helps to regenerate raw materials in subsequent production cycles and to minimize waste and losses, paying attention to the prevention of negative environmental externalities and to the creation of new productive and territorial value.
Buti, from this point of view, has decided to reuse its primary resources through the development of a new planned design content, of extreme quality but also intelligent and sensitive, exploiting its own Florentine artisan production chain and always guaranteeing a high level of professional training to its young collaborators through the exploration of these new frontiers of the luxury world.
